Six years ago I saved my life. I was 59.

I did not buy a Corvette. I lost 100 lbs.

And dropped my a1c for the last 4 years

to 5.5 from 16 and my Sugar Level from 500 to 90 and my

Tryglecerists from 940 to 160,

and my Cholesterols from 240 to 160.

And my weight from 230 to 150.

And I did it from walking 8 miles a day for 4 years.

I am alive. And I have been feeling like crap just lately.

I stopped my diet a year ago and stopped

walking 8 miles a day and I was so let down.

And I feel like crap. And so I am getting up again,

this time to rebuild my life. I am starting inside

with short 15 minute walks twice a day. Some

pushups and situps and stretching.

And I am going to do it again. I am going to recover

from the malaise caused by what I have been through.

I am starting again. One foot in front of the other.

Thank you.

I decided I would update a post on this rather than

create a new post: I am better.

Because I chose to be.

I am different than others.

I was there and I decided. And I decided to change

my perceptions. And it worked. Just sayin. For me it worked.
