I attended a specialty school.

During the day we had normal classes but the classes

were organized around performance tests

and the students were placed by their abilities.

In my class the teachers invited Highschool students over

to teach us French and other languages. And in the evenings

at the homes of the Highschool kids I was tutored in foreign languages

by the students. At the YMCA I got my coordination back by taking

Taekwondo. And I studied multiple musical instruments until in Junior High

we had a Garage Band at a storage facility in town. I worked for

my father’s second company for fifteen years on the road and while

traveling I worked for a friend in my studies of Linguistics and Cultural

Development as volunteer work being hosted by families,

as the West Point Choir Cadets had once staid at my home as a child. I had

been through a lot in my life and the adults around me added so much to

my life in their kindness.
