Breaking Tomorrow

The sun whispered across the field.

This is where we slept last night in a tent.

We will head into town this morning for breakfast;

there is a Church there associated with the last one.

We stay along the East Coast these days. A candle at night in the tent

in a candle holder. It was a cylinder. Can you find one like it

and buy it for me? At Church, they find us a home to stay,

where there are showers and school in the mornings.

Many times, there are questions about why we aren’t at home.

A shoulder shrug keeps the mystic alive. It was the early seventies

and it is Fall with the evenings still comfortable. We walk between the

cities and camp out until we get there. I love to walk. We bring food with

us. And my candle holder.
