I lost about one of myself in weight over 3 years from walking 8 miles a day. I would not have survived. The weight came on suddenly. I started at 120 lbs until I was 30 years old. I am 5′ 9″. The medication that I took for seizures and PTSD in the early 2000s put 60 lbs on me over the years. I took care of my father for a month in the nursing home 17 hours a day and slept there. My health was severe and the weight jumped to 230. In 2019 my legs started cramping when I would fall asleep and I couldn’t breath when I fell asleep. My Bank closed my account on me without notifying me and I didn’t get my SSDI check for rent or food. I staid up one week, walked one hundred miles, and did not eat. I was homeless. It took me 6 years to recover. I saved my life from the effects on cortisol and PTSD and Diabetes. I am 65 and 150 lbs and my waist has gone down from 38 to 28 and I have muscles. Amazing muscles at 65. Taekwondo.
