It was around 1967.
I had a gold stingray with a banana seat.
I had a cowboy hat and cap gun.
One night I knelt beside my father’s bed
and I whispered, when I close my eyes I see cartoons.
One day when coming home from school
my mother told me that she had to come get me
because I was taking so long.
There was an old man on the way home
with grown up kids, and he said to my mother… please
don’t make him walk straight home, I so much like his company.
And one day I meet a new friend, and I told him that
we had learned something new at school called
crash tangles. He asked if I meant rectangles.
