Timothy two

doors down from my apartment

sat on his floor and stared out the window.

Timothy had a problem. He had an idea that the view

from his window was only a reflection of his apartment.

So one day Timothy decided to see if indeed there

was nothing out there. And there was.

And as I leaned into the darkness. I closed my window

and blinds. I watched the news. And talked on the phone.

And in the morning I went to work, had my coffee

and breakfast. And on the day I graduated from College

I met a girl named Sarah and Sarah had some friends

that liked my friends. And its as simple as that. Or is it.

I have never had conversations with windows.

But I have also never met Sarah. For Sarah’s sake.

I am a perfectly likeable guy but sometimes I talk to the door.

People go out windows.

Nobody comes in through the window.
